Announcing P1 Primo

It’s been a while in the making and I’m glad to announce we’re finally live!

My name’s Patrick, live in The Netherlands and I’m passionate about electronics and getting insights from data. Collecting data is the easy part, doing something with it can be hard and something I want to make as easy and accessible for everyone.

After moving house in 2021 the goal was to make our home as smart as possible, getting insights from everything and automating as much as possible. Using custom solutions our house was getting smarter by the day and early 2022 I realized that some of these creations could benefit others as well so Bakerflow was born.

Monitoring energy usage, especially with the rising prices, was top of mind so that was the #1 thing to tackle first. After months of testing, validating and user feedback I’m proud to announce the availability of our first product, the P1 Primo!

The P1 Primo is a smart Wi-Fi module based that you can connect to your Dutch/Belgian/Luxemburg smart energy meter using the P1 port. It provides you with real-time usage of your energy usage for both gas and electricity (consumed & produced energy). It comes pre-installed with ESPHome and allows for easy integration with Home Assistant.
